          I have lived in Africa most of my life and I have to say, it is not bad at all.  There ARE huge cities in Africa. There ARE malls in Africa (ok, not in every country, but Ghana and South Africa have them) South Africa is just like America, there are theme parks, larger-than-your-average-malls, air-conditioning galore, and nicely paved roads.

           Ghana is not as nice but it is not bad. In Accra (Ghana’s capital),  there are pretty nice soccer stadiums, there is a mall (the largest in West Africa), and nice, westernized, restaurants.  There is a place to go go-karting, bowling, and very nice beaches as you get on the outer limits of Accra. There are also VERY nice hotels in Ghana. The is a new Holiday Inn close to the airport and a Hilton is arriving soon!

If you have never visited Africa, you have not seen soo much.
