The Seychelles is an island country in the Indian Ocean, located to the east of mainland Africa. Seychelles, the name alone conjures up images of hidden treasure and tropical paradise. The Seychelles is known for its serene sandy beaches and its natural scenic beauty, which is mainly because the Seychelles has some of the most picturesque beaches in the world.
The Seychelles islands lie spread like emeralds over the azure waters just south of the equator. A small number of granite islands cluster around the principal island of Mahe, while the more numerous islands extend in a gleaming arc towards East Africa.

Most remain virgin and unspoilt. All remain sanctuaries to some of the rarest and most exotic plant and animal life in the known world.

As well as the absolutely beautiful beaches of the Seychelles there are many other really wonderful attractions for tourists to explore.
Aride Island is the most unspoiled of all the islands in the Seychelles and is located north of Praslin. Aride Island is also home to some rare species of flora including Wright Gardenia. The waters surrounding Aride Island are rich in marine life such as dolphins and hawksbill.
Ile Coco Marine National Park is set around 3 small islets in a shallow turquoise sea with nearby large expanses of coral reefs.

L’Union Estate in La Digue Island is home to the one of the most pristine beaches in the Seychelles.
La Digue is the fourth largest inhabited island of the Seychelles, lying east of Praslin and west of Felicite Island.
La Digue is situated a short distance from Praslin, but is unreachable by plane, instead a short boat ride from Praslin to La Digue is required.

It is one of the finest holiday destinations on the globe and a top class tourist attraction. La Digue Island is a natural beauty location.

For an escape from the real world, a vacation on La Digue is the ultimate in luxury.
