The Great Pyramid of Giza and its history.
Out of all top voted wonders of the world, The Great Pyramid of Giza, also known as Pyramid of Khufu or Pyramid of Cheops still remains well intact and is oldest and largest among the three pyramids in Cairo, Egypt.

The Pyramid is believed to be the tomb of Egypt emperor “Khufu”. The Great Pyramid has three chambers inside including Queen’s chamber and King’s Chamber. As a part of other wonders, there are two temples in memory of King Khufu and three small pyramids for king’s wives.
The Great Pyramid is 455 feet tall, and estimated to be 5.9 million tones of mass. According to studies and estimation, it was built in 20 years with 800 tones of stones applied everyday. The pyramid was the tallest man made structure for over 3,800 years until, Lincoln Cathedral was built 160 meters tall.

This Pyramid had been often robbed in ancient past by robbers and thieves but still remains precious with its arts and cultural display.
