Bora Bora Island: A Part of Heaven

A magical tour to Pacific Bora Bora Island.
Next summer season is approaching and most of us still has no plan on where to go. As a travel guide and natural beauty lover, I’ve decided to go somewhere in the world where it is not discovered yet. After a complicated research on the net, I’ve found my destination. Destination Bora Bora.
Bora Bora is an island in the Pacific Ocean, which is a part of island group called Leeward Society Islands. It is exactly located in French Polynesia. The word Bora Bora, actually Pora Pora, is the phrase in Tahitian language with the meaning of “first born”. In years Bolabolla and Bollabolla words were also used.
The population of island is approximately 9000, very low. However, when the summer comes, it changes drastically and increases to ten thousands. The possible reason for this considerable change is the beauty of nature in Bora Bora. It completely reflects all the beauty of Pacific Ocean. The natives of island are quite hospitable and friendly. You can always see smiling faces all around the island.
The largest city of island is Vaitape with the population of nearly 5000. Life standards are quite high compared to the other islands. The main income of the natives depends on tourism. So, most of the people work for hotels and entertainment companies inside island. Hotel prices are relatively high. Transportation is mainly provided by flights between Tahiti and Bora Bora.
Tahitian, French and English are most used languages. Especially knowing English eases the communication. The natives mainly use Tahitian.
Mount Pahia and Otemanu are two peaks in Island. Both is actually a remnant from extinct volcano and not a danger for natives and tourists.

Bora-bora remind me, Cherating Beach Resort in Malaysia and Redang Island. White sandy beach and a lot of privacy.

Cold northern climates make this area particularly attractive at this time. How eco-sustainable is the Bora Bora economy in the global system of social and economic development?
