Morning Traffic in UAE

by Kaavs on 14/04/09 at 5:07 am

For residents of the Emirates and for those who need a glimpse of reality.

It’s worth a shout out at the ever-green problem in the Emirates – traffic. There are people who fled to Abu Dhabi and preferred driving to Dubai for work everyday with the hope of getting an edge on the traffic. But Alas, there’s no escape from this seven lettered word. And about the typical Dubai-Sharjah road traffic…..the less said, the better.

It wouldn’t be justice if I hadn’t given RTA  (Road and Transport Authority) credit for cutting it down from a total nightmare to a not-so-horrible-as-it-used-to-be ! What if …..there was a road straight across the Mamzar beach and into Dubai? Would that ease the stream of cars and buses?

Everyone gives a sigh of relief with the declaration of holidays of schools. Children, for obvious reasons, it’s holiday time! Adults, for obvious reasons, ease in morning traffic!

Yes, I dislike traffic, even though I warm up the passenger seat , ;)

For the people who drive, stay cool and tsk…tsk….
