Madhya Pradesh is a good birding destination as well. It offers great bird watching in its forests and grasslands. Apart from the National Parks the wildlife sanctuaries like Nauradehi, Pachmarhi and Bori sanctuary are good for birding in India.
Madhya pradesh excels as a spiritual destination with popular destination as Sanchi, Maheshwar, Omkareshwar, Chitrakoot, Amarkantak, Mahakaleshwar and Ujjain. Amarkantak and Jabalpur has special significance due to Narmada River which originates in Amarkantak. The famous Marble Rocks and Dhuandhar Falls are due to the gorge in Narmada at Jabalpur.
Among the Hill resorts Pachmarhi is the most popular destinations for Indian holiday makers. It is at great hieght with amazing scenic splendor of the finest resorts. It is a conglomeration of dense teak forests, enchanting valleys and high rising mountains littered with fairy pools, water falls and prehistoric caves.
