Khajuraho Temples

The fascinating temple of Khajuraho was built between 950-1050 AD.  The Khajuraho Temple is located Madhya Pradesh, India.  The temple got its name because of the Khajuraho trees that are located around there.  The temple is also a good tourist attraction.

Konark Sun Temple

The Konark Sun Temple was built in 1250 AD. The Konark Sun Temple is located in Orissa, India.  The temple was built to look like it was carrying the sun god threw the heavens. 

Golden Temple

The Golden Temple is located in Amritsar, India.  It is obviously called the Golden Temple because of the gold sides.  It was built at the lowest level possible to show the gods humility.

Meenakshi Temple

The Meenakshi Temple is located Madurai Tamil Nadu, India.  In 2009 it was one of the Seven Wonder of India.

Somnath Temple

The Somnath Temple is located in Prabhas Kshetra, India.  The Somnath Temple has been destroyed six times and has been rebuilt every single time.   

Ranakpur Jain Temples

Ranakpur Jain Temple is located in an isolated location in the Pali Mountains.  Ranakpur is one of the five most holy places in the Jain community.

Sanchi Stupa
