What Do Triond and The Book of Ezekiel Have in Common?

What do Triond and the book of Ezekiel have in common? Find out here.
Triond was founded in Tel Aviv. Does it have anything in common with the book of Ezekiel? The book of Ezekiel was written in the very city that Triond operates from! God gave Ezekiel visions for the world that were to be read till the end of time from the very city that Triond writers send their writings out to the world.
In Bible times Tel Aviv was Telabib. Eze. 3:15 says:
“Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.”
What does Tel Aviv or Telabib mean? “Tel” is Hebrew for “mountain” and “Abib” means “green ears of corn.” Abib was also the Jewish first month of the year and was the month that the Israelites came out of Egyptian slavery.
Deut. 16:1 “Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.” (Other references Ex. 13:4; 23:15; 34:18)
It was because of this now beginning that Israel got that God told them in Ex 12:2:
“ This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.”
What lessons and parallels can we draw from all this?
(1) At Triond the sons and daughters of God can share their “mountains of green ears of corn” feeding the world with food from the Word.
(2) At Triond our message will find many an “ear.”
(3) Just as Ezekiel received messages from God at Tel Aviv that are essential for the captives of the world, we too have a message for the world to bring many out of the slavery of sin, messages that will break the shackles of doubt and pain and grief and suffering. Like Ezekiel we will reveal the glory of God. Like Ezekiel we may witness new life raising up the dead dry bones of disappointed hopes, neglected spirituality, and hearts that have lost the will to go on. As in Ezekiel’s day some may be asking “Can these bones live?” (Eze. 37:3) But as Ezekiel’s name means “God will strengthen” us. He will breathe new life into all who will follow Him. God will inspire us to follow His command in Heb 12:12 which says:
“ Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees.”
(4) Though God’s operations may seem complicated like the wheel within a wheel that Ezekiel saw, we can let everyone know like Ezekiel that God’s hand controls all for there is order in what He does.
So go ahead and write and let God’s writings through you be inTeRnatIONalizeD. You are already a part of the geography. Be part of the history and the future.
