Tokyo`s Top 6 Tourist Destinations

The article gives a brief description of Tokyo`s six beautiful places, where tourists love to visit again and again.

Ginza is one of the most expensive places on the earth. This is the place where a single cup of coffee may cost $10. It is Tokyo’s most famous shopping district hosting almost every leading brand name one can imagine. With its huge shopping complexes, art galleries, night clubs, cafes, Ginza deserves well to be a hot spot for tourists. The district was named Ginza because from 1612 to1800, it was an important site for silver coin mint (Ginza). Ginza‘s importance as an up market shopping district grew particularly after the Great Kanto earthquake. And gradually the place became one of the most famous market districts of Tokyo. Shinjuku- Shinjuku can be referred as the commercial hub as well as administrative center of Tokyo. Sinjuku station is one of the busiest train stations in the world. Modern skyscrapers and big luxury department stores can be seen all over the Shinjuku. Tokyo Metropolitan Government buildings and administrative centers are also no less in importance. It is the place from where tourists get a great view of Tokyo skyline. Shinjuku Gyoen Park, which is considered as one of the best parks of Tokyo is also located here. Gardens in this park are blend of three distinct styles: French formal, English landscape and traditional Japanese. Tourists prefer it as one of the best sight for cherry blossom. Shibuya- Being one of the high Fidel fashion centers of Japan, Shibuya became the first choice of Tokyo’s younger generation. Shibuya‘s nights are also no less colorful than the busy and crowded day life, which is particularly due to the business activities take place here. Shibuya station is also one of the busiest railway stations of Tokyo. Harajuku- Like Shibuya Harajukuis also one of the famous places in Tokyo, where one can encounter the fashion-loving younger generation of Tokyo, particularly at Take Shito Dori( Take Shita street) which is the focal point and main market for youngsters. Harajuku‘s modern shopping complexes and markets provide a good insight in to Tokyo’s street fashion. Tourists who are tired of shopping and perplexed by modern neon lights and skyscrapers may feel peace at Meizi Jinqu shrine which is not far from here. Actually this Shinto shrine is dedicated to the emperor Meizi and his wife Shoken. Asakusa- Main attraction here is Senso-ji temple, a Buddhist temple where Buddhists and non-Buddhist all visit alike. Senso-ji is dedicated to the Bodhisattva Kannon. Besides, the place is famous for a number of famous Japanese restaurants where tourists may get an opportunity to taste some famous Japanese dishes. One more place Kappabashi, which is famous for its whole sale market of kitchen ware and restaurant equipments is also not far from here. Uneno- Uneno is the best place for those, who are nature loving and curious about animals, because the place is worth, hosting a zoo and known for it’s famous Uneno- Koen park. In spring season Uneno- Koen becomes famous spot for viewing Japan’s famous cherry- blossom.
