Dakak

Being a tropical country, the Philippines has many beaches. One of the many favorite beaches in this country is Dakak, which boasts of powdery white sands, crystal clear blue waters, and rich coral reefs.

Dakak is just one of the many favorite beaches in the Philippines.  Dakak beach is located in Zamboanga Del Norte in Mindanao (one of the three major islands in the Philippines).  Its location conveniently escapes the typhoon belt, so it has relatively zero typhoons in the area.  This therefore makes it an ideal destination for tourists any time of the year.  The point of entry to Dakak is through Dipolog City as can be seen on the map.

Dakak beach is famous for its island cove, powdery white sands, pristine blue waters, and rich coral reefs.  Because of these characteristics, it is known as the ‘diving Mecca in Mindanao’.

Sports in the area include swimming, sailing, surfing, kayaking, jet skiing, water skiing, deep water fishing, and more.  It is perfect for scuba diving and snorkeling because of its rich and virtually unharmed coral reefs and the variety of marine life that you can explore.  The various hotels and lodgings also offer other types of activities that you can enjoy.
