Hundred Islands

If you enjoy the idea of going from one island to another, then you might like this vacation spot. What’s more, you can also rent an island and have your own private beach for a day.
This place is called hundred islands because it literally has 100+ islands. 124 islands are scattered all over Lingayen Gulf where it is located. During high tide, one of the islands submerges under water.
The main attraction in Hundred Islands is basically the many islands you can explore. Not all of them are open to the public, though. The ones that are developed fully for tourists are Governor’s Island, Quezon Island, and Children’s Island.
It is located in Pangasinan in Luzon (one of the three major islands in the Philippines). Activities include swimming, surfing, fishing, and snorkeling. The best activity to do here is island hopping using boat rides. You can explore caves in some of the islands. You can also rent an island for your own private beach for a day. Accommodations in this vacation spot are very basic so tourists can enjoy nature at its best.
Hundred Islands has two seasons; hot and rainy season. Hot seasons are from February to August. And because the location is within the typhoon belt; occasional typhoons are experienced in this location even during the hot months.

@ Mythili Kannan and Cutedrishti8, thanks for dropping by.
@ Clafleur, I know how you feel, hope you do find the time and the chance to visit.
@ Ruby Hawk, it will really be nice to live there for a day or two. But after a while, I think you’ll eventually miss the city life and especially the internet.
@ Jane Jane, hope you get the chance to visit this place. If you’re from Metro Manila, it’s just about 4 or 5 hours ride by land. Happy trip.

Hi Ruby and Lee Peng, island hopping is not very common in other vacation spots. So, it’d be quite a unique experience if you plan to visit.
