As the world is worrying over the onset of recession, many are burdened with the problems on the financial aspect. Consequently, these problems pose a greater threat to many. Thinking about too many problems and too heavy a burden may result to health problems. Therefore, it is imperative that one finds time to relax and unwind. And what is a much better way to relax than spending a vacation in a place synonymous to paradise?

Known as the largest province in the Philippines, Palawan not only prides itself on its massive area of jurisdiction but on its beautiful beaches and truly astounding landscapes as well. If you are looking for the perfect place to relax and commune with nature, this is the perfect place to go. You can choose from a variety of resorts and go on a seatrip adventure or just watch its scenic landscapes while basking in the white sand beach.

Palawan’s crystal clear waters present an endless opportunity for adventure. If you are looking for an underwater adventure or just want to feel the simple pleasure of seeing beautiful and colorful sea creatures, you could go snorkeling or diving. Better yet, you could swim along with the Palawan Dugong also known as the Palawan Sea Cow. It is one of the tourist attractions in the place. If you are into exploring new things, you could go kayaking to secret lagoons or go trekking to the peak of an island or explore uninhabited islands. For less athletic people, they could go bird watching, fishing, go on mangrove tours, or visit the butterfly garden, and the crocodile farm and the nature park.

Palawan is likewise internationally known for its bird’s nest soup. The bird’s nest soup is also known as nido soup. This is a popular delicacy which ingredients come from the nest of the select specie of cave swiftlets, the tiny birds inhabiting dark caves. Instead of the usual nests which are made of twigs, these birds’ nests are made from the male bird’s saliva. Believed to be rich in calcium, protein, potassium and magnesium, this delicacy has become one of the most sought for by foreign visitors in Palawan.

Aside from the beautiful sceneries and the adventure that one could encounter in Palawan, the place also boasts of its high-class hotels and amenities. Furthermore, it is one of the cleanest places that one could ever go to. Thus, if you want to take a few days refuge from all the noise and pollution of the city, you can go to Palawan and experience a serene and clean environment.

Indeed, Palawan is synonymous to paradise. It is a refuge from all the worries of the world. Here, you could relax and enjoy the pleasures of life.
