Seeing waterfall appears in the midst of the opulent rain forest vegetation gives the seer the impression of a strange bliss and admiration. “Majestic!” “Wonderful!”
There are innumerable majestic waterfalls in the Philippines. Just in Iligan city alone, there are 20 plus waterfalls where some are most visited because of its accessibility and others can be reached by foot trek only. Most of the falls were surrounded by jungle and rain forest scenery.
Here are the most famous and beautiful falls in the country.
The Pagsanjan Falls
The falls has a height of 30 meters in the midst of rain forest.
The boat trip or the rapid rides of 11 rapids gives more thrill than other adventure sports.

The Maria Cristina Falls
The famous “twin” waterfalls comes from the legend of two sisters, Maria and Cristina. The direct falls is a no swimming zone because of its 80 meters height. But native children do not mind the torrential waterfall and its water spray and jump from high rocks to the water.

The Majayjay Falls
This fall is located upward Pagsanjan. Its crystal spring water is famous for its freezing role. Visitors leaved their bottled or can drinks dip to the water and come back after a swim, and take a sip of these ice-cold drinks and boozes.
The Aliwagwag Falls
This majestic falls is consider as the highest falls in the Philippines, with a total height of 3,348 meters, showing 84 steps and heights between 2 and 30 meters.
The Limusudan Falls
The second highest waterfall in the Philippines.
The Tinago Falls

A high beautiful waterfall with 73 meters high hidden in a ravine.
The Dadiongan Falls

The Sagada/Big Falls
A 40 meters high forked waterfalls.
The Pinssal Falls
The tallest terraced waterfalls with a cave behind the main waterfall.
Hinulugang Taktak Falls
This fall is famous to visitors because it is the nearest to Manila. The deteriorating forest is drying up its water reservoir.
The Busay Falls
Its a seven stage waterfall with a total height of 243 meters and an average width of 6 meters.
Itbog Falls
Also a twin waterfalls in the neighborhood of Mount Isarog.
Botong falls
Another “twin” waterfall near the town of Sorsogon.
The Quipot Falls
This fall is found in Dumaguete.
Sudlon Falls
This fall is located nearby Kanlaon.
Mag-aso Falls

This falls is located at Tagbilaran, Bohol Island.
Amandaraga Falls

A waterfall described as “curly” falls, located at Samar.
Kawasan Falls

A cascading waterfall in Badian, Cebu city.
Tamaraw Falls
This is located in Puerto Galera, Mindoro.
Tapiya Falls

Alalum Falls
This falls is near the village of Sumilao, Mindanao.
Tudaya Falls

Wonderful that you shared; it was the perfect tonic to soothe the soul which beats even on 3 hours sleep.
In upstate N.Y. and also on the Canadian border, the falls often freeze over and some are illuminated … but these photos remind me of the awesome appeal of natural nature

I had seen some of these falls and it really soothe one’s mind and relax the body.
