The most densely populated city in the world is Manila. Of the 50 most densely populated cities in the world, 10 cities are from the Philippines.

The City of Manila, the Philippines’ capital, is very heavily populated. It is not only the most densely populated in the country but also in the world.

2.) Pateros

Pateros is the 2nd most densely populated town in the Philippines and the 6th in the world, or more appropriately the most densely populated town or municipality in the Philippines and in the world. Pateros is famous for duck-raising industry and is the country’s major supplier of “balut and penoy”.

I have a particular interest in the Philippines, as one of my daughter-in-laws was born and raised there and my son has visited there on several occasions.
