 Once the best place to live is now the worst place to live. This place I’m talking about is Sri Lanka. In Sri Lanka there is currently war happening between the Tamil military and the government forces. Lots of innocent Tamil people are dying due to war. Over 50000 people had died and thousands injured.

 I wonder why the international community haven’t intervened in the Sri Lanka war. This is because we haven’t had that much protest. But now, the Tamils had lots of protest in downtown and one on the Gardiner Express Way where it made lots of traffic on the highway. This problem went on the news like CP24. This is how people found about the civil war in Sri Lanka. 

Why didn’t the Sri Lanka government let journalist in refugee camps and in the war zone. I think because the Sri Lanka government didn’t want anyone to know about the war and how they are killing innocent Tamil people for land.

Is the Sri Lanka government going to let the Tamils have equal rights?  I don’t think so because the signalise has backup from the government.

I think the media should be allowed in the war zone so the world could see the innocent people suffer. The prime minister of Canada, and the President of USA should intervene in the post conflict resolution in Sri Lanka, in order to avoid the war in the future and to make sure the minorities are treated as equal as Sinhalese.
