Ephesus Adventure

Ancient city of Ephesus in Turkey.

This magnificent feat of Roman Architecture is awe inspiring and breathtaking. Ephesus is the ancient city of Anatolia. This once busy port has been diminished over the years due to silt from the river Cayster. You will find yourself wondering down the ancient streets of this once busy city. There are a couple of things should you decide to take one of the hundreds of tours offered here, yes, you will get vast information from the tour guide who is knowledgable about Ephesus but you will more then likely be shuttled to other places you did not want to visit, like pottery factory, gold jewelry market are but a couple. Most of all the tours do not give you the time to explore this vast setting and you will miss many key areas and points. Ephesus is easily a day trip. The weather you will find is warm, should you plan on visiting during the summer months.

Both my husband and I enjoyed this trip and encourage others who are interested in history to embark on this adventure.
