Ecuador: South America’s Treasure

South America’s most beautiful country!

Ecuador is located south from Colombia and north from Peru, you probably remember this name from a imaginary line that divides the world into 2, this line is called the Equator. Here in Ecuador you can go to the capital city which is called Quito and see La Mi tad Del Mundo (Spanish for half of the world) in La Mi tad Del Mun do, gravity is at it’s lightest and you can actually make a nail stand still with an egg on the top with nobody holding it.

I like la Mi tad Del Mun do but, for me, the best place to go visit is the zoo, located in top of a mountain which you can actually walk around a forest, and look around. There’s also places where you can buy clothes at a really, really good price. The capital also has places where you can go and relax, there’s pools, and the food is really good, plus the climate is so nice that you don’t have to worry about a rainy day since everyday is sunny and warm.

The capital of Ecuador can be a very interesting place for a tourist and there’s more cities in which you can go and visit. I will be writing more about this cities in the future just look for them  with the tag: Ecuador travels. Thanks for reading.

 Next city: Esmeralda, Ecuador

It’s ‘mitad del mundo’ meaning middle of the world. And it’s a ridiculous fake town tourist trap with a comically out of place bull fighting ring. But, hey, if that’s where your overpriced tour group took you, why complain?

My suggestion is to pick a village randomly from a good map, preferrably one that is far from any airports, spend two to ten days getting there by bus, truck, or donkey, and talk to everybody. Skip the tours.

First of all i know its” la mitad del mundo”, the thing is that when i was editing it, the computer wouldn’t let me submit it, 2nd of all , i think Quito is a great place for tourist and has many places to visit, and 3rd, i never went into a tour group, i was born in Ecuador and i grew up in Quito, thats how i know about it, and during my life time i visited many cities and towns and it doesn’t take you 10 days to get to any town, it takes about an hour in bus, 2 hours in donkey, lama, or horse, and about a day or so by foot, to go from a city to a far away town, but it also depends where you start. And you are what we call gringo. Por que tu hablas sin saber nada!
