Even though Guatemala is growing every they and Guatemalans are modernizing their lives, there a big part of the country which has been naturally preserved. Atitlan Lake

This lake has everything to have a great time. Either you are with your girlfriend/boyfriend, with your family or with your friends, you will have a lot of fun. In this place you can do water skiing, climb the volcanoes around the place, snorkel, dive, etc.

Antigua Guatemala

Antigua was found in the year 1776 during the colonial period of Guatemala. Although in this place there have been improvements in modernizing the facilities for tourists, the infrastructure has been preserved to enchant the visitors  with the colonial art and style. For young people there exists clubs, parties, adventures, volcanoes and places to do extreme sports, as it is canopy. Adults can climb volcanoes, explore the ruins of Antigua, take part in the religious activities, golf and simply rest in this gorgeous historic place.

Tikal: The Mayan City

Tikal is one of the best preserved place, where pre-hispanic cultures coexisted in the whole world. While the Mayas lived in this part of Guatemala they built many cities which, because of their religions, had to be tall, magnificent and big so that they could serve their gods. Tikal is just fabulous, it is place unique in the whole world, where people can explore and know more about this awesome culture. Guatemala means “land of trees”, Tikal reaffirms Guatemala’s name and visiting this place is also a way to appreciate the flora and fauna and one of the biggest rain forests in the whole world.

The Two Oceans

As many Caribbean countries Guatemala owns many beautiful beaches. What it is unique in Central America and Guatemala is are the 2 oceans: Pacific and Atlantic.

With its beautiful and unique black-sand beaches Guatemala offers a place to rest and escape from the rest of the world. Adults, kids and young people can enjoy the beaches and relax, which are less than 800 km from each other. There many activities you can do as it is water skiing, diving, scuba diving, sailing, fishing, SURFING, etc.
