Iguazu Falls: A Park of More Than Just One Waterfall

Located between Brazil and Argentina.

There are 275 waterfalls that are located between Brazil and Argentina. These waterfalls are twice the size of Niagara Falls in the United States.

The best time to see these magnificent waterfalls is in the spring or in the fall. Summer is extremely hot and humid and winter time the water level is much lower.

The Iguaza Falls are divided into separate falls. The most famous one is Devil’s Throat, some others are Bossetti, San Martin and Bernable Mendez.

Devil’s Throat is best seen from the Brazilian side. Where fourteen falls are dropping 350 feet to create a 100 foot cloud of spray overhead. Always watch for a rainbow when you are here.

You are permitted to swim below the falls in certain areas. Boats are taken

out by the falls so that you can get an up close look. Also people come to this area to do rock climbing, but it it is for people with experience.

Iguaza Falls look to be a spectacular sight. If I am ever lucky enough to be able to go to Brazil, I will definitely go to Iguaza Falls and see it for myself.

Saw Iguacu back in 1992 and it is an awesome sight, much more impressive than Niagara! There are lots of walkways in and around the falls too.
