For those who prefer the all-inclusive vacation, then one would understand the recommendation of Half Moon.

Half Moon is nestled among 400 acres of tropical landscape on Jamaica’s northern coast. From their pristine cresent beaches to their white washed cottages, Half Moon offers an abundant of activities.

On our stay to Half Moon, our villa was conveniently located near the beach and on the main street. We had a butler, maid, private pool, two golf carts and many more amenities. We opted for the all inclusive package, which I highly recommend if you have children, and were served breakfast, lunch and dinner! It was very nice to have time to relax and not worry about dinner! We enjoyed the pool in the back yard, which was lined with tropical flowers, the tennis courts, and the wonderful spa.

The people on the island are spectacular! I made a long time friend, whom I still correspond with, and I was fascinated with the culture. Jamaica is a relaxing, warm, lush and free-spirited island. My family made good use of the hobie cats and the dolphin lagoon. We rented paddle boats, and enjoyed the live music and open markets. Half Moon also offers a 72 par golf course designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Sr.

One of our excurisions included a trip to the Rose Hall Plantation. It is a beautiful Georgian Mansion, famous for the White Witch Anne Palmer, and sits high on the hilltop. Now, restored to its original splender, tours are available and recommended.

Of course, you will want to ride in a taxi, it’s scary how everyone drives in Jamaica, so close your eyes and let the taxi driver get you there! Jamaica is rich with culture, and history, and a vibrant popular urban recording industry.

Rose Hall is located just outside of Montego Bay. Only a short flight from Atlanta or Miami, Rose Hall is a must for the all-inclusive vacationer. From it location, to it’s lush grounds and charming villas, it’s ideal for the couple just wanting to get away to a multiple family reunion.
