Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas is one of the world’s most popular vacation destinations. The spectacular beauty of the property is due in part to an intriguing collaboration between architecture and art that is particularly captured in its magnificent fountains.
Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas is undeniably one of the most enchanting, fun, luxurious and beautiful destinations in the world.
It is also one of the most versatile: you get to choose from an expansive menu of pastimes.
Whether looking for extravagant elegance; theme park adventure; beach fun/relaxation; casino excitement; delectable cuisine; beautiful art and architecture; or all of the above and more, Atlantis Resort has it all … in abundance.
Perhaps one of the most surprising features of the resort is its art and architecture. In a previous article about Atlantis, www.trifter.com/atlantisresortsculpturescarvesanartfulniche.85310,I focused on the incredible sculptures - both free-standing, and those incorporated directly into the resorts’ architecture. No less amazing are the numerous fountains, which of course highlight the resort’s water theme. These aren’t just any fountains, but are also sculptures; beautiful works of art that add to the whimsical, adventurous, enchanting nature of Atlantis.
Visitors to the resort are greeted at the entrance of the Royal Towers by a fountain of seven bronzed flying horses sculpted by Dani de Jager … and it just continues from that point.

These are only a few of the many fountains to be found at Atlantis Resort.
For many visitors, the fountains, sculptures and architecture are central to the resort’s immense popularity as one of the world’s most exciting destinations.
