Wonderful Beaches

There are so many beaches around the world, so where do you go? Why not take time to scuba dive in the Bahamas?

The gateway to paradise the Bahamas, this paradise has an island called Bimini there is North Bimini where all the night life takes place and there is South Bimini and the Fountain of Youth.  Ponce De Leon thought he discovered the Fountain of Youth on South Bimini.  You can still see the marker near the airport.  The quiet atmosphere on the South Island is great for scuba diving, fishing or just relaxing.  I can see how he thought it was the fountain of youth, your cares just wash away on this island and erase any stress you may have.  This will certainly put years back on you.

The beautiful waters off the islands are crystal clear.  You can see over 200 feet straight down and  if you put on a scuba mask and look down I promise, you feel as if you are in space.

This wonderful island is a great fisherman’s paradise also, so ladies get your men because they will definitely shell out the clams to spend time here.

I will be honest I went to Bimini for a scuba diving adventure and although the beaches are small but wonderful the scuba diving is the ultimate adventure for anyone.   There are old ship wrecks with a ton of marine life living in them.  We saw Moray Eels (careful they do not like attention or strangers) and nurse sharks are abundant.  These are the sharks that eat off the bottom of the ocean.  You can also see a concrete roadway in the ocean that some people think is the roadway to Atlantis.

There are several bars and restaurants on the North Island.  This is an ideal place to be if you want a relaxing atmosphere.  The people love the tourist and welcome you with open arms.
