Aruba, one of the ABC islands, is  near  South America.  Its blue  beaches in the C Caribbean have a warm temperature, much like bath water.It is a perfect place to visit anytime of the year, because  it is not in the “hurricane belt”.This  assures one that  no devastating storms  will rip through this small beautiful island. One side of this island is known as the hotel strip where major  line the calm  beach.Although the tourism  department does not net the beach for sharks, there has never been a major shark attack on this side of Aruba. The reason being is that the sharks were  fed on the other side of the island where the beaches display rough and dangerous waves. This  shark feeding was practiced for many years, until just recently. It is thought that the sharks are accustomed to  traveling and feeding on this particular side of the island.  The tourist side is kept free of food and litter so that the sharks will not venture onto the popular beach  enjoyed by many tourists.  The song”Don’t Worry, Be Happy” best describes the attitude of the native Arubans. They take life and its many challenges in their stride and develop a passive, yet, positive outlook. Yes, Aruba is a dream location for both visitors and inhabitants.
