Discovery of a Mysterious Underwater Disc

What is this huge disc shaped artefact on the bed of the Baltic sea which appears to have slid along the sea bed to its current resting place?
On 18th June 2011, a group of Swedish treasure hunters called the “Ocean Explorers” were exploring the Baltic Sea bed between Finland and Sweden when they came across a mysterious underwater artifact which they are studying and believe is not a natural formation…..
The object is located at a depth of 87 meters and is circular in shape with an estimated diameter of 60 metres.
Curiously, there is a 300m long sliding track behind the object, suggesting that the object slid along the seabed into it’s current position.
Peter Lindburg, a member of the “Ocean Explorers” said
“You see a lot of strange things in this profession, but in my 17 – 18 years working as a professional wreckage hunter, I have never seen anything like this. The shape, the totally unique and completely round circle makes this find totally unique.”
The objects location and photographs have been passed to the Swedish State Marine Museums to investigate – who have commented that it is too early to determine what the object is, however, the most believable explanation at this time is that it is a natural formation of some sort.
This does not however explain the trail in the sea bed.

It most definitely does not appear to be a natural object. And the slide aspect brings to mind the idea of a sliding crash landing.

Awesome article. I actually read this earlier today and it does seem to be something artificial. I won’t go as far as saying alien yet b/c the Baltic Sea has numerous nations that conduct training exercises in it so I am betting on an experimental craft probably for the russians. But it does deserve way more research. What is good is that it is in relatively shallow water and divers can get to it. Lets hope they actually disclose the findings this time though.

Very interesting article.
It seems that they are finding many artifacts at about 300 feet, which some think is how much the water levels rose worldwide at the end of the ice age and at the great flood.
There are artifacts around Cuba, Japan, and off of India at about 300 feet, where the shoreline was before the great flood happened.
The author Graham Hancock has interesting things to say about this stuff.

the way it’s shaped and horizontally decayed in an even fashion looks like a whiskey barrel lid, although you’d think that would float no matter how saturated it got to be. With enough years maybe it would lost its buoyancy somehow…strange ! whiskey barrel lid or powder keg lid for an old naval ship i reckon.
