If you are in nice go and take a walk on the prom it is a very wide and wonderful walk in the evening.you can also rent skates or you can get a bike.there are some unique markets along the way and many ice cream parlours.the beach is not so great.it is very rock with fist sized rocks that hurt your feet and the slope of the beach is steep example if you walk 2 feet forward the depth goes down a meter.it also has a very strong current with a heavy backwash that can bring you in.
2. Get a bus tour around.they are not expensive and you can hop on and hop off as much as you like.they bring you to many places around the heart of nice and tell you about good places to go in your free time.
3. Visit Monaco to see the grand Pris if it is in season.it is also a good place to shop.it is very expensive but has a lot of top notch brands.there are many casinos to go to.it is a good place to rent sports cars.
4. Visit cannes it has many markets and shops.if in season you can go to the film awards festival.
5. Go to a beach.ask locals where you can find a nice beach if your lucky enough your hotel might have a private beach
6. Go to a local restaurant.try to avoid tourist ones because they are often too expensive and they are geared toward American and English taste buds so you wont get the real stuff
