Being a writer and presenter means a lot of my time is spent focusing on detail and focusing on the feelings of those I am communicating with.

So you can imagine the PURE pleasure I felt when I walked into PURE Beauty Rooms to be met by a very attractive radiant girl.

She let me into a room with soothing glowing candles, fresh smells of aroma oils and gentle music. PURE heaven towards another world I had left outside the door.

I was receiving a revitalizing and rejuvenating herbal facial with a first time experience of Asian  threading instead of waxing my eyebrows.

I snuggled up under the warm soft blankets and began to forget the hustle and bustle outside of the room as the soft music and smells began to relax my senses.

The beauty therapists soft hands began to make my skin feel nourished again as I soaked in all the wonderful smelling natural oils it received. When we go through the winter months, our skin can become too dull and dry as it is always covered up. I could feel the tingling sensations as my skin began and become alive.

Once the facial was over, next was to sort out the shape of my eye brows with a white piece of thread.

Yes – a piece of thread !!! Like the thread we use to sew our kids’ school trousers .

If any of you are lucky enough to go to the beaches of the East you will receive amazing massages and hair removal by threading.  Do not underestimate this process. The threading process is a skilled Art.

It is much more beneficial for our skin and a lot less painful than waxing and a less aggressive, more gentle approach, which leaves no redness.

Pavitra from the Asian Sanskrit word for ‘pure‘, Greek word hagnē, meaning “pure” or “holy” in Western Terms.

This is a definite opportunity to experience a moment in time of PURE heaven on earth.

So after  1 hour 4o minutes I was ready to re enter the maddening world of chaos outside.  I took a deep breath, leaving the Natural Calming Environment of PURE.
