Sweet, Bonny, Ireland

Southern Ireland is truely a sweet, Bonny, place to visit when travelling around the United Kingdom (UK) and Europe and I would recommend honestly recommend seeing what it and its people have to offer.

Without a doubt Ireland had to be the greenest place Itruely a s visited on my overseas trip. Coming from Australia I could say with total confidence that I had never seen such a lush, green, scene as I saw before me. The Lakes District in England had certainly been green and picturesque; however, it didn’t compare with the exquisite green colour of Ireland. It is here dear reader, that I need to be more specific. When I say I went to Ireland  I’m referring to Southern or the Republic of Ireland.

I remember traveling to Tiparary abd Rock Laire where I explored the old ruined buildings which had been used for a variet of purposes many centuries before. For my fellow Australians as I traveled to Tiparary I thought of the song “Its a Long Way to Tiparary” which I’m sure most of you had sung sometime in your early years. As I reflect on my journey around the country, I remember sitting at a table drinking a glass of coke in a local pub, listening to a local sing both national and international songs. I also remember feeling tempted to ask if he, the singer, would sing “The Wild Colonial Boy” which was another song from my childhood.

Waterford was another destination on the agenda which was quite interesting in its own way, although it is not the sort of place I would recommend for those people who prefer the hustle and bustle of busy streets, with any number of people and shops imagineable. It is a small place with the main attraction being the factorial where waterford crystal objects are made and sold in the shop. While I have never particularly liked crystal objects, even I had to admit that the glasses, vases, bowls, and other products were beautifully made abd in some respects well worth their price tag.

Southern Ireland is truely a sweet, Bonny, place to visit when travelling around the United Kingdom (UK) and Europe and I would recommend honestly recommend seeing what it and its people have to offer.
