Journeys Through Italy

The Prosecco hills in Valdobbiadene.
In June 2003, I took a local detour near the Dolomites mountains and reached the San Gregorio locality in the province of Belluno, which, with the Treviso plains, is world-renowned for the growth of the sparkling Prosecco wine. The view shown in this image covers possibly only a 10th or less of the actual sight, which covers virtually 360 degrees. I was lucky enough to grow up in this area but it always feels like the first time I visit when I do go back.
