I’ll tell you about a town called Povoa de Varzim and is close to Porto.
It is a fantastic city to spend a quiet holiday. 
A few months before we left on vacation, we look on Internet ads for renting apartments during the high season. Is a little more during these months there but much less than being at the hotel and you are 100 meters from the sea is as if it were your own apartment. You feel like home. The first thing we did when we arrived was to go swimming in the sea People are very friendly and the shops are open very early in the morning and close at dawn. You have a lot of restaurants with Portuguese specialties and many other things like fast food but I would advise a Portuguese specialty. Remember to buy a souvenir for your friends or family. Full of stores across the sea have beautiful memories. You have the castle you can see in 5 minutes of Povoa de Varzim. You can go harvest mussels early morning. And for those who like to spend the nights a little hectic, you have 2 or 3 clubs who have agendas filled every night with different DJs. For those who like fun but sleep at a reasonable hour, you have throughout the sea of bars. Finally, all those players, you have the casino, which organizes events for and of course love to dance too.
That, I think I see everything I say about this wonderful little town to me when you put one foot we want more from it feels so good. So please book your apartment in advance and enjoy your holidays.
