The best has yet to come – 2009 starts low but good things to those who wait!

VENICE, ITALY. The world-wide famous city is currently facing an abrupt loss speaking of tourism incomes. Bad weather in the first half of the year isn’t helping, even if the recession has stopped the rise of the already astonishing-prices in the “Serenissima”.
Booking has reached -17,28% (source: Adnkronos) during December, thanks also to the new tourist habit to do an “hit-and-run” visit, swarming through the streets leaving behind them nothing but litter, hwich in no way contributes to rise city’s quotations.
Anyway, now that the weather is improving, Venice is still a beautiful place to visit, and, for once, is not overcrowded as usual. Booking now would be a wonderful idea.
