Cracow is the third largest city in Poland, Central Europe. It was the capital of Poland in the past. Nowadays, it is a tourist attraction number one; a must-see for all foreigners visiting this country.

Cracow is the cultural capital of Central Europe and number one tourist attraction in Poland. Every year thousands of foreign visitors come to that beautiful city, attracted by its unique athmosphere and historical past. It is the only city in Poland that was not completely destroyed during the first and the second world war, with many monumental buildings, such as Sukiennice (the Cloth Hall), Mariacki Church (St. Mary’s Church), Ratusz (the Town Hall), ‘Szara’ house and many others. Cracow has got the largest market square in Central Europe and the widest streets within the Old Town from amongst all historical European cities. The city itself was a capital of Poland for centuries. The king Zigmunt Vasa the Third has moved his capital from Cracow to Warsaw, and Warsaw has remained the capital until nowadays, but in Cracow, there is still the Royal Castle (Wawel) on the Wawel Hill, and it has been made a museum. Cracow has got lots of other museums and art galleries, too. Tourists can purchase guided tours around the Old Town and the castle, or go sight-seeing on their own.

The options for things to do in Cracow are many, from shopping facilities to hotels, restaurants, parks, cinemas, theatres which are not only a place of entertainment, but also pearls of historical architecture, theme parks (the Aquapark close to the city centre), swimming pools and leisure facilities. From among the places to eat I would recommend Wierzynek restaurant serving traditional Polish and international cuisine. It is the most expensive but also the highest rated restaurant in Cracow. Accommodation opportunities are numerous. Within the Old Town you can stay in 5***** appartments and hotels, as well as in cheaper, 3*** inns or hostels, B&B’s or private guest rooms. Transport in Cracow includes taxi and car hire services, as well as buses and trams. However, there is no underground in the city. The only underground rail in Poland at the time is in the capital, Warsaw. In Cracow, it is not possible because the council needs to protect the integral structure of the city and its historical values. The building of an underground would be not only expensive, but also not enthusiastically welcomed by the local community. The city council currently invests in tramway lines development and you can get almost everywhere within Cracow by tram for less than half British pound…

How to get there?… Easyjet has got scheduled flights to Cracow airport from Luton and Stansted airports near London. You can alternatively fly to Katowice with WizzAir, they have joint flights to Katowice and Cracow, which means that you land in Katowice and the WizzAir Bus takes you directly from the airport to Cracow city centre, to the international coach station. If you prefer to travel by land, you can either take your car on the cruise ship or use the Channel Tunnel in order to get to France, from where you will travel to Poland through Germany, which is the shortest way and I think the best option. You can also go by coach from London Victoria Coach Station… You have a great choice of travel options from the UK to Poland, indeed.

So, when do you have your nearest holidays…? Pack your suitcase and book your trip or city break now! Cracow is waiting for you and will welcome you with all its beauty and unique athmosphere! You must love that city…! Don’t wait, go explore Cracow today!…;-)

Baby you’re perfect for me
you are my gift from heaven

and live my dreams
endlessly
crazy for you

can you feel the rhythm in my heart
the beats going Düm Tek Tek
always out it like there no minute
feels like there’s no way back
can you feel the rhythm in my heart
the beats going Düm Tek Tek
always out it like there’s no minute
feels like there’s no way back

baby i read all answers
in your exotic movements
you are the greatest dancer of all times
you make me feel so special
no one can kiss like you do
as it is your profession
feel so fine

can you feel the rhythm in my heart
the beats going Düm Tek Tek
always out it like there’s no minute
feels like there’s no way back
