What Hollandish thing you should do in Amsterdam.

I’m from The Netherlands.
I’m gonna tell you something about the country and what you really have to see when you’re in Holland.

When you think about The Netherlands you probably think of wooden shoes, tulips, weed, windmills, lots of water.
Yes, the all of this things are really Dutch

If you’are in The Netherlands you will probably stay at Amsterdam airport.
If you stay there a couple of nights (perhaps the whole holiday) you have many things too see:

For the people above 18 there is a museum about condoms and sex related items, a big red light district (even fun to walk through instead of having sexual intercourse :D ) with the coffee shops where u can buy legally weed, and mushrooms (if you’re lucky). Or you can take the homeless tour through the ”Wallen”, that’sthe red light district, guided by a homeless bum which knows all the facts and things a normal guide doesn’t know. Because he’s homeless its very cheap too.

For all ages:

You can go to the PC Hooftstraat (PC Hooftstreet) where you can go shopping in very expensive shops for clothing like Gucci and Louis Vuitton etc. Or you can just watch very expensive cars ( we even have one Bugatti Veyron) in the street and a lot of the BNers (Bekende Nederlanders;Famous Dutch people) if you want cheaper clothing u can go to the Bijenkorf (Sort of Bloomingdales) or the C&A or H&M and the Jack and Jones. You can even shop at Sundays in Amsterdam

There are various theaters where you can watch plays (also in English) with restaurants and bars so you can go out to theatres.
If you’re not in Amsterdam for culture you can go too one of the many bars (”kroegen” in Dutch) to drunk yourself or just have a beer with holiday friends or the people that you brought with you on holiday.

A couple of Amsterdam’s bars:

Café; Karpershoek
Café; Chris
Café; de Druif
Café; Papeneiland
Café; De drie Fleschjes ( The three bottles)
Café; Hoppe

These are some of the oldest bars in Amsterdam, there are much more though..

If you’re fond of extreme sports you can paintball, kart, jump from a plane (with Parachute of course) and then relax on one of the terraces of the bars

You can travel through Amsterdam with:

Train
Bus
Trolley
on Foot
Taxi
