It’s about Maritime Museum in Texel island – the Netherlands.

Last month we went to the “Maritiem Jutters Museum” (nautical beachcombers museum) on the island called Texel – the Netherlands. It looks a bit like a small village, there is a rescue capsule, a  windmill called “De Traanroeier”, beachcombers exhibition, etc.

My favorite part in this museum is The Texel Roads. Where there are lots of miniatures ships during the VOC (Dutch East Indian Trading Company). I took lots of photos while we were there. It is amazing how they make all those miniatures ships, the models are so incredibly detailed.

There are a couple of places for children to play as well.

If you are visiting Texel island, this museum is really worth a visit.
