This old town is on the River Cam. It is a famous univercity town. There are beautiful old buildings.

Edinburgh:

Is the capital of Scotland. There year a big castle in the centre . Every year there is an International Arts Festival.

Liverpool:

Take a boat trip on the River Mersey. There is also a fantastic modern cathedral. The city is the birthplace of The Beatles and a good place for Beatles souvenirs.

Oxford:

There is the famous university in Oxford, of course. There is also a brilliant collection of art and archeology in the museums of the town and university.

Salisbury:

Has a beautiful cathedral. It isalso ner Stonehenge, a monument form the Stone Age.

Stratford-Upon-Avon:

Is famous as the birthplaces of Shakespeare. See a play at Royal Shakespeare Theatre next to the River Avon.

York

Is a beautiful old city. Go shopping for souvenirs. Visit the magnificent cathedral, the excellent Railway Museum and interesting Viking Museum.
