Hall End House is a beautifully restored, Georgian house set at the foot of Marcle Ridge in Herefordshire.  Set in the middle of a 500 acre estate the house enjoys uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside.

In 1575 there was a landslip on Marcle Ridge.  The site of this slip became known as “The Wonder” and is part of the Hall End estate.  Guests are welcome to walk to “The Wonder”.

You have a choice of luxury accommodation.  There is a four poster room with an ensuite shower room, a twin room with an ensuite bathroom – featuring a bath in its own recessed alcove and a tower room.  The tower room has its own entrance, ensuite bathroom and sitting area, making it the perfect rural retreat.

In summer guests can breakfast in the conservatory and swim in the heated outdoor swimming pool.  In winter, guests can breakfast in the breakfast room and dine in the elegant Georgian dining room.

Ledbury is perfectly situated for many cultural events.  Each summer Ledbury hosts the annual Ledbury Poetry Festival featuring major poets.  Ledbury is equidistant from Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester making it an ideal location for visitors to the annual Three Choirs Festival.

Being just half an hour’s drive from Cheltenham, guests are within easy reach of all the major festivals in Chelteneham – racing, music, jazz, books and folk.

Visitors to Ledbury can enjoy miles of varied walking.  The Malvern Hills are within easy reach as is the Wye Valley.

Castle lovers will be in castle heaven.  Situated close to the Welsh Borders, there are many castles within easy reach including Goodrich, Skenfrith, Grosmont, White Castle.  The Castles of Herefordshire site describes the location or remains of 130 castles.
