Pembrooke: A Piece of Paradise

I describe how Pembrooke in Wales is a piece of Paradise.
I remember travelling to Wales with few, if any expectations of what the country was like. Admitedly I had seen images of the land and its people on television, yet nothing could have prepared me for what I saw. I was captivated by the beauty before me as I observed green hills and villages galore. Pembrooke was without a doubt, the epitome of beauty with its rolling green hills and lake paing a picture of tranquility and paradise. The scene was so peace anyone would excused for thinking humans had hardly altered the area at all. The woods were scattered, yet they appeared to go on forever. The animal and plant life was fascinating, particularly as I hadn’t seen many of them at home. Home for me was, and still is, Australia. While I knew the flora and fauna would be different, I was still amazed by how vast the difference was. The scene could only be described as heavenly and certainly a piece of paprdise on earth.
Accommodation was limited, and what there was, was booked out. I remember feeling anxious as I wondered where I would stay. The prospect of having to return to London was hardly pleasant, and one I tried not to contemplate. Just as i was about to give up hope, the lady in the information centre suggested I stay at her house. I had greatfully jumped at the opportunity and she drove me to her home. I was awestruck. There is no other way to describe how I felt as I saw my hostesses home. It really was a gem in a captivating place. The house stood quietly, looking out at the world as it stood regally tall before me., Both the front, and back garden were tucked away, yet they suited the house they surrouned.
It was easy to feel at one with the world and its inhabitants, as so few people knew where I was, whihc was ideal as there was little chance of being disturbed from my temporary piece of paradise. Paradise is certainly something people aim for as they seek to get away from the mundane, and complex lives they lead, is important to rejuvenate themselves in a world of peace and harmony. Pembrooke is paradise as it provides a haven for both tourists and locals who wish to escape from their hectic, stressful lifestyle. In conclusion I would highly recommend visiting Pembrooke as it really is a peace of paradise on earth.
