This ten day event held in May of each year (May 7-17 in 2009), was developed to provide filmmakers the platform to promote the cultural and spiritual elements of Buddhism to the world.

 London is a top tourism destination in England. Here you will find over 1100 hotels to choose between. Many are going to be smaller boutique style hotels, however, there are several large scale, luxury resorts as well.

 London is not only a cultural center of England but it is also a historical center of the country. Here you will find the country’s top museums, examples of architecture and urban attractions. The first attraction that you will want to visit is the National Gallery. This museum is located at Trafalgar Square. It is the home to a world class collection of European paintings which were created between 1250 and 1900.

If you are interested in military history then you will want to visit the Imperial War Museum. It is located on Lambeth Road. Here you will find examples of war machines, weapons and uniforms.

If you are a classical theater lover then you will want to make plans to visit Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. This is not the original Globe Theatre, but it was recreated to reflect what the theater would have looked like in Shakespeare’s day.

The final must see attraction is the Tower of London. This is where some of London’s historical prisons were kept including Anne Boleyn. A tour of the tower is given by several tour companies and it can be found on Tower Hill.
