Should You Go to York?

A review of York, uk, yorkshire, England.

This is a continuation of my city review.  Whereas I’m reviewing cities.  Well, actually I expect I shall just review places, some may not in fact be cities.  This one is though.,

I should lay down my cards, on the table.  Right there in front of you, see?  One of them is the kind of hearts.  This is because I love York, and it is indeed the Kings of cities.  I just think it’s the ideal size.  Not too big so you get lost and things feel too urban.  But also big enough that there are things to do, music to listen to plays to see.

It scores very highly on my coffee ,cake ,beer matrix,.  There are loads of places to go and get a nice pint.  The R and G, the York brewery pubs, the Golden lion.  Also the oddly famous Betties tea room is a nice stop off.  Although to be honest café concerto offers a better cup of coffee and cake.

York is also amazingly pretty.  It has great city walls, an amazingly minster, and the very smelly Yorvik centre.

Not only is York great to visit, have great places to east (nice Italian down in the shambles etc) but its also a great place to live or study.  The university has a very good reputation. The town itself is on the main train route and can be only two hours commute from London!!

If you have the chance, visit York, live in York,  Love York.  This is all
