A Trip to Kabul, Afghanistan

A trip.

i went to Kabul, Afghanistan 2 years ago in the summer. i wasn’t really expecting much, but i under estimated Afghanistan. It isn’t just the  sandy dusty dirty Kabul that you hear from rumors, its more then that. its a home to a lot of people.  everyone is kind and nice to each other, well the normal folks you see every day on the streets. say u get lost, u can ask for directions any time to anyone, but have no fear, they will help you out.  here’s a little map of Kabul:

My favorite part  of Kabul was the great food they had. Oh my god, u won’t believe the food they have in the shops and restaurants. i went to one random little shop on a corner of the street, and ordered a sub. it u convert the afghan amount of money i spend to u.s dollars, that sub only cost  me about 50 cents! it was such a great deal and it tasted so good. i have also lived in Pakistan for some time, but i have not tasted food like i have tasted it in Afghanistan. i also went to other shops, they had sodas, energy drinks, water, and of course great food. It had really awesome great tasty ice cream.

It wasn’t as dangerous as you would think it would be. You would probably think that there are people walking around with guns and bombs. I did not see one person in Kabul with guns and bombs besides the police there, and they did not have bombs.there were cops stationed every where for the safety of the civilians.  although there was this one night, everyone was asleep, then all of a sudden there is a huge BOOM sound.  I was scared out of mind, but i never got to figure out what that was.

You would probably think that there is no computers there or Internet, but there was. yes, even i was surprised with that. i went to a local Internet cafe. now the computers there weren’t so great, and the Internet neither, but hey they still had it. the computers looked like they were from 2003, and they were, they were slow but it was still great. now the Internet i wasn’t so happy with. the Internet was so slow! yes there were like 20 computers, but still, it was slow. it took me 1 hour just to load 1 min you tube video. the computers weren’t protected like it is in the united states. i mean like all the restrictions some places put, they didn’t have any. the computers were probably slow because of all the viruses…..

well this was my trip to Kabul, Afghanistan, i hope u like it and comment.
