Today I am bringing to you the list of New seven Wonders of the World. This list of seven wonders of the world was choosen on the basis of popularity. The people from all over the globe voted for this, given the choice of hundred of various wonders.
1. TAJ MAHAL :- This Awesome wonder of the new world is been located in INDIA in the city of AGRA , and in the state of UTTAR PRADESH. It was built in the memory of true love.It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. He named it from the name of his wife “Mahal”. It was made up of marble and was been built by 20000 workers. After its completion Shah Jahan visited monument and was amazed to see the beauty. He ordered to cut the hands of all 20000 workers so that no one can built the same structure again.
2. GREAT WALL OF CHINA :- This ancient wonder is been located to the north of Beijing in the country CHINA. It was built in 221 B.C. It was built for preventing the invaders to attack the country. It streched over 2500 miles and is so long that it is even visible from the Moon.
3. LOST CITY OF PETRA IN JORDAN DESERT :- This ancient lost city has been located in the small country called as JORDON , this small country is been situated right in the middle of the two continents Asia and Europe.This wonder is been naturally made by rocks. The red rocks are so much beautiful and scary.
4. STATUE OF CHRIST THE REDEEMER :- This New wonder of the world is been located in BRAZIL in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is basically statue of christ built at the top of Corcovado Mountain.It looks like Christ is watching them from the mountain.
5. MACHU PICCHU :- This new wonder of the world is been located in South America. It is been also called as “Lost City of the Incas”.Machu Picchu was in the knowledge of some Peru farmers till 1911.It was been discovered and made famous wonder by an American named Hiram Bingham.
6. Chichén Itzá :- This new wonder of the world is been located in the archaeological venue in the Yucatan Peninsula.This amazing building is been named as an World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.
7. THE COLOSSEUM :- This new wonder of the world is been located in the beautiful and ancient city of ROME. It was built by the Flavian Emperors. It is basically an ancient theatre in the heart of city Rome. It was built in 70 - 82 A.D. More than 80000 thousand spectators can sit and watch the theatre.
