Top Secret: World’s Most Controversial Places

by The Anonymous One on 20/06/09 at 7:16 am

Some of the worlds most controversial places and the little information that’s known about them.

1. Dulce Base

Don’t see anything in the picture above of Dulce Base? Well, that’s because the entire base is underground, plus, even if we had actual photos of this place, they wouldn’t exist anymore, and whoever took them would be dead. We put Dulce Base at the top of our list for a reason. It’s the most interesting, most controversial, and sometimes one of the most unheard of areas. It hasn’t even been confirmed that Dulce Base even truly exists. The theories that are the most supported are that this base is deep into the advancement of alien life, alien contact, psychic abilities, genetic mutations, and cross-specie breeding. It is said that it’s compromised of seven levels. Level one has been claimed to be the maintenance level. Level two is a transportation level, where interconnected tubes and tunnels have train like vehicles that travel at mach speed. Level three is the area where they (Scientists) will check every single aspect of your body, and make precise notes, so that they can notice any change to your being while on base. Level four is the area where human mind experiments are done, such as telepathy, hypnosis, and mind reading. Level five is the residence level for aliens. Level six is the level where all the genetic testing is carried out. It is said that there are rows and rows of thousands of vats containing human, human like, and alien like creatures growing/developing in them. Level seven is an area for “discarded” experiments. These would include creatures/humans/aliens that most would say are alive.  They may or may not be in confinement.

2. Mount Yamantaw

Mount Yamantaw is situated in the Ural Mountains in Bashkortostan, Russia, remains a large area of controversy that has been under construction for years. The name “Yamantaw” translated into the Bashkirian language means “Evil Mountain” which only adds to this areas suspicion. The Russian/U.S.S.R. government, when questioned about the area has made multiple claims, all of them being different, as to what this area is. Even more concerning is the fact that there are multiple military garrisons outside of the area, which are said to hold up to 30,000 employees and workers each. There is a lot of controversy about this area between the United States and Russia. During President Truman’s visit to the U.S.S.R., he came in contact with the countries lead mining manager. One of the previous claims was that Mount Yamantaw was a large quarry. President Truman asked the lead mining manager about the area, to which he replied that he had never heard of it. Intrigued by the president’s query, he sent out one of his workers to go question the government about it. When the worker returned, he looked quite nervous and shaken, and simply said “I cannot say anything.”

3. Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center

Serving as an experimental nuclear reactor for North Korea in the 1980s, Yongbyon has been a site for concern ever since its construction. The nuclear reactor was shut down for a while until North Korea tested a nuclear warhead in 2006. This immediately was a concern to countries worldwide, as this was a direct violation of the Nuclear Test Ban. So what does a nuclear bomb have anything to do with a shut down reactor? Well, North Korea has allegedly been reprocessing and recycling already used plutonium and uranium from the plant, and had been using the plant as their cover. Once the plutonium and uranium have thoroughly been reprocessed, it is suspected that they then use it in the manufacturing of nuclear weapons. The North Korean government has confirmed that the plant has been shut down for all purposes in 2007, but that the plant may go back into operation in 2009.

4. Chernobyl-2

We’ve all heard of the infamous Chernobyl reactor disaster. Few have heard of Chernobyl-2 though. Chernobyl-2 is located not too far from the reactor, but was also kept a great secret. Not even local town people knew of it when it was operational, despite the fact that it’s pretty much a huge metal skeleton. Chernobyl-2 was used as a high power radar that could detect missiles that were heading for the U.S.S.R. The radar was placed near the Chernobyl power plant due to the fact that it took so much energy to run. In mid 2007, Chernobyl-2 was being prepared for disassembly and was to be used for scrap metal.

5. Pine Gap

A satellite tracking station, Pine Gap is located in Australia and is run by the Australian and the U.S. government. The more proper name for the area is the “Joint Defense Space Research Facility.” It has been reported that the facility employs anywhere from 700-850 people. The facility is used for gathering signals, in particular signals that are emitted from advanced weapons, such as ballistic missiles, anti-aircraft radar, transmissions from communications satellites, and in some cases long distance telephone calls.

6. Raven Rock (Site-R)

Raven Rock is located in Pennsylvania and was constructed in 1953 during the cold war after President Truman approved it. Its main purpose was to be an alternate command center in case of emergency in a scenario where the previous buildings would be destroyed or at major risk from the Soviets. It currently is still operational, and is now the backup plan for the Defense Information Systems Agency, the National Command Authority, the Joint Chief of Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the United States Department of Defense, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and the Navy, Army, and Air Force. With all the military and government activity, it’s no wonder at all why this place is so secretive.
