Of course some people are scared to leave their cars unattended for a week or two, as they think that there is always the chance that someone will try to break into them.  One solution of course is to avoid leaving any valuables inside your car.  It would be folly to leave enticing items knowing that you are going to fly off for awhile.  Another thing to consider is the security that Airport Parking provides.  Not all are airport car parks are created equal, as such check the security amenities like CCTV cameras, roving security and the like.  These should be factors included in your choice of airport parking spaces.
