Luxury Hotels -Frequent Travellers Complaints

People spend lakhs of rupees every year for staying in luxury hotels, but it doesn’t mean the growth of luxury hotels. It figures out from the market research that luxury hotels forget guest’s proper needs and dignity. We have tried to put light on the drawbacks of luxury hotels by which people could be conscious to run at luxury hotels.

Welcoming process of luxury hotels:
People go luxury hotels for getting best service, so it should not be a welcoming process to keep a guest waiting for his room. It is acceptable that hotels have a checked-out time of noon, so before handover to guest it’s needed some maintenance. If a guest checks in after 1 pm or 2 pm and still still they keep him waiting or suggest him to take a coffee in the lounge, then that manner is unforgivable. Even they can’t able to make up rooms still 7 pm for guests who checked in a long time back. No single guests go to luxury hotels for taking a cup of coffee in a lounge; everyone has their own important work. Guests are the revenue of them, so they should be concerned about guest’s needs and dignity which is the basic cares of luxury hotels.
Luxury can makes confusion & irritation:
The simple meaning of luxury is comfort. We all want to spend our life luxuriously, that’s why people run towards luxury hotels, but the kind of luxury they provide them, that’s really confusable.
These hotels have car picked up facility for the guest from airport, but when guests are greeted by reps and emerge out of the terminal they have to wait for 25 mins or more than that for the car. They have to be more conscious about the planning that how they will make their guests best comfort.
To enter room, key card do not work properly, most of the time it refuses to swipe for opening the door. In the age of advanced technology why they do not take any better way? To make guest comfort is the key word of them not to give harassment.
Lights are not enough for the room. Its true that low light can create quiet atmosphere, but everyone doesn’t go there for taking rest, many people likes to read book on their bed, so how will they do that? Hotel should be concerned about bright light which will be used guest’s needs. This is one part. The other part is, sometimes guests don’t operate hotel’s fancy lighting systems, so they have to stay in darkness until any of them come from hotel to help them out. Its really ashamed for a luxury hotel who uses fancy and luxury systems to decorate their hotels but for whom they have done all these, those guests are not able to utilize the systems. Most rooms have little or no ceiling light, depending instead on lamps which make it look so depressing at night. Why those hotels can’t understand that simplicity with decency is always acceptable and could please the guest.
Luxury hotels can’t provide a useful washroom. They provide all the necessary elements which is used in bathroom, shower, towels, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner etc but the don’t utilize those materials at their sweet able place, like we all know hair dryers has to be kept near a mirror but most of the luxury hotels do not arrange like this. It comes to know from guests that they can’t able to use the shower of the bathroom and the staff of that hotel comes and make them understand. So what is the use to keep these things which have to make understand each and every guest for several times?
In most hotels the shampoo, the conditioner, the mouthwash and the bath gel are all packaged in identical bottles. Usually towels are too small to be truly luxurious. Rarely are they fluffy. The shaving issue, most hotels offer razors that cut guest’s faces to shreds; they should give effective no-nonsense disposable razor. Lastly the fancy stopper in the bath tub seems never to work.
Keep luxurious the hotel but make it simple and useful. This policy will attract much more guests to the luxury hotels. And also should be strict about the process of check-in guests, so they will not leave the hotel for their laziness or non disciplined way.
