Laugh if you must but craigslist.com provides many airline deals and links to site with the cheapest airlines/cruises. No matter where you fly in the world you should also be able to find a deal for round trip tickets for under 1k dollars for even the furthest destinations. Plan long time ahead for cheap and standard prices or wait for cancelations for bottom buck. Best bang for your buck would be a cruise where you can find leisure, drinks, food, greatest beach locations, and many activities like scuba diving. Cruises are great from couples, families, gays, or singles. I would highly recomend staying away from the drinks because they can easily double the price of a cheap ticket.

If 1k dollars or this does not sound appatizing to you, then try vacations where you can go out tenting in national parks, hikes, camping, fishing, hunting. iF not then go find cheap resorts where you can lay around wasting your life on a beach or stay back in your apartment/house playing games or watching tv.
