Start your trip off right by flying first class. Not only will you be guaranteed comfort, it is hassle free and exponentially more relaxing than having to fly in economy.
Summer has officially started and many are making plans for a relaxing summer vacation. Time to pack the bags and hop on the plane, and get away from all the hustle and bustle. More often than not, the hustle and bustle we dreamed of leaving behind finds us again at the airport and on the airplane. Flying does not have to be so hectic! The flight can become a part of the vacation itself!

The first moments of any vacation are very important because your expectations will be set within these first moments. Having to deal with terrible service, screaming children, faulty airplane seats, and snoring neighbors will put you in a bad mood and consequently lead you to look at all problems, no matter how minor, the same way. Whereas if you had a relaxing time at the airport with no hassles, and flights can be made a part of your vacation experience, problems will be dealt with in an optimistic light so to not ruin the great start you’ve had going into it.
In economy, it is fairly standard to receive complimentary drinks, snacks, meals for longer flights, and some form of entertainment. Customer service is usually rated to be above average are airlines are looking for customer loyalty. Despite all of these offerings, it is hard to appreciate it all when you are cramped up in a small space, unable to stretch your legs, and unable to sleep because of crying children.
In fist class, many airlines offer amenities above and beyond what is offered in economy to make your flight all the more relaxing. To start off, the customer service in first class is highly attentive and almost everything is on demand. The menu choices are comparable to those of fine dining restaurants all over the world, and will often come with complimentary wine. A semi private space is usually offered for first class travelers which includes a chair that reclines all the way to a flat top, or even have an entirely separate bed in some larger air crafts.
Extra perks also come with being labeled a first class flier, such as extra baggage allowances and access to a member’s lounge. The lounge may offer additional amenities such as a nap room, library, complimentary food and drinks, and free Internet access.
Flying does not have to be a chore to be done before and after each vacation. Make the flight a part of your vacation, and enjoy the whole vacation from the moment you step out the door. Instead of booking last minute flights, plan earlier and make flying something that you look forward to, and not something you dread.
