Heaven on the Earth: Five Fantastic Beaches

by Rodallega on 25/09/08 at 8:02 am

Here is my favourite beaches for a great summer holiday.

Last year, I was in Patara, one of the most beautiful beaches in Turkey. Throughout my vacation in Antalya, I met people who travelled to almost every beach in the world. I listened their stories and fantastic holiday memories. I was impressed from what I heared about some beaches. After my vacation, I researched all those beaches and pickep up the photos. This article is about 5 fantastic beaches that attracted me deeply somehow.

Phi Phi Islands:

Phi Phi Islands are located in Phuket, Thailand. However, it is a part of Krabi. Phi Phi reminds the tourists of heaven. My friend Pawaena says “it is like the reflection of beauties in heaven. A combination of all beauties. ”

There are many hotels, hostels and spas in Phi Phi. Every summer, more than one million people go Phi Phi for vacation and the population of the island changes dramatically. Habitants of the island are very hostile and happy when they see new faces.

Seven Mile Beach:

It is located in George Town, the capital city of Cayman Islands. Despite its beautiful nature, the number of visitors was dramatically decreased after Hurricane Ivan disaster. There are many resorts and hotels in George Town to accommodate. Puclic nudity and loud music is strictly forbidden.

Lanikai Beach:

Lanikai is located in Hawaii, on the coast of Oahu. Unlike other beaches, Lanikai is only for very rich people. It is ranked as one of the bests. If you are well-off, this should be your first choise.

Manly Beach:

It is located in Sydney, Ausralia. A good place for swiming, surfing and even walking. Manly beach has three parts, Queenscliff, North Steyne and South Steyne. It is adjacent to Sydney Harbour National Park.

Blue Bay Beach:

It is located in Zanzibar. This is one of the favourites of travel agencies in Turkey. Likewise other touristic places, Blue Bay has many hotels, resorts and spas. Since prices are moderates, it is open to everyone from different classes.

Lanakai is a windsurfing spot.
I think it’s a place to visit when on the big island.

My favorite beaches are on Kauaii.

First, Lanikai Beach isn’t just for rich people. It’s not like there are people standing across the entire beach checking people’s wallets for platinum credit cards and lots of cash. Lanikai is a very very rich part of O’ahu, but anybody can go to the beaches there. Next, comment #2 from boz says it’s on the big island, but it’s not. It’s on O’ahu, just down the street from Kailua Beach, which is another really popular beach

I thought all beaches in Hawaii by law are open to the public, and had to have public access. Is Lanikai Beach an exception?

I love Kauai, too. I even created a site about it with my own pics and videos, http://www.stayinkauai.com. The best thing about Kauai is you have to fly to get there, so it’s not too touristy. And, if you’re adventurous, you can find beaches that pretty much only the locals know about. My wife and I have been on beaches where, literally for several hours, there were no other people in sight.

Chuck – Lanikai Beach is definitely not an exception. Like Cali said, anyone can go there. My girlfriend and I recently got lucky and were able to go to Hawai’i; we’re far, far, far from rich but had a wonderful time on Lanikai and the other beaches on Oahu. It’s true that the neighborhood near Lanikai is very rich, but that doesn’t mean anyone can’t just stroll down the public access ways to that beautiful beach.

You leave me wanting more. I am a beach junkie. I don’t have a lot of money so I have not traveled to many, but one day. Very nice photos and cool article.

Hit up Thailand 4 times last year and never made it to Phi Phi. Meant to every time, but always ended up procrastinating too long.

That Zanzibar beach looks perfect.

just a clarification, in the phi phi description did you mean to say hostile? I mean, are there locals with guns waiting around for tourists?

Dude, Ive been to two of these beaches first off. From reading I feel like English is your second language. If not, you need to go to remedial high school classes quick… and looking at a map wouldn’t hurt either. Im so sick of these pointless posts that the assuming eye regards as true. Its stuff like this that is ruining the internet for me.

Don’t you mean hospitable? How can they be hostile and be happy when they see you

Looks nice. Lanikai Beach, according to articles on the web, is accessible by anyone. There do not seem to be many amenities around but everyone loves it.
