Full Time RV’ing

Ideas on saving money and not being homeless in an unsure economy. Full time RV living is not that far off of a thought. Thousands already do it.

These days everyone is thinking about how to cut expenses. When the economy was good we all went out and spent money that we didn’t have to spend. I have found a way to save that I never would have thought of before. Full time RV living. When our youngest graduated and went off into the Marine Corps, we sold our house and everything in it and paid for an RV. That cut a high house payment and all utilities. That is a lot of bills to cut out to trade for only a lot rent payment which average from 250 per month to 400 per month. With the money we made from selling our furniture, beds and everything else we bought free and clear an RV. With the savings from lower bills we were able to pay off our other debts and travel around and see other parts of the US that we had not ever seen.

So you don’t think that you would like the smaller space. Really it is just an adjustment and we all have thing s to adjust to in life anyways. We went from a 3500 sq ft home to a 32ft travel trailer. Now that a lot of debt is paid off and we both know that we want to continue this I am looking to upgrade to a larger RV. Some RV’s have slide outs that make your living space much larger and you can go as cheap as you want or as fancy and expensive as you like. This is an excellent way to save money and not wind up homeless in this unsure economy.
