Pack up the RV, it’s that time of year again.

The grass is coming up, the days are getting warmer. It’s time to get out the trailer, dust off the sleeping bags and hit the road. It’s RV season again. Tired of long days watching the snow fall, frigid temperatures and being cooped up inside ? It’s time to get away, fresh air, exercise, late nights and early mornings, sounds good to me. There is no better way to spend your summer vacation.
Weather you travel long distances or stay close to home, there’s a camp ground suited to your needs. I am lucky enough to live on Cape Breton Island were there are a number of wonderful campgrounds. Two of most favorite are the KOA in Baddeck and Englishtown Ridge. Both of these outstanding facilities are located on the world famous Cabot Trail. Cape Breton Highlands National Park also has a number of very well appointed camping grounds.
No matter where you go or how long you stay, your summer vacation will be fantastic if you go RVing. So pack a bag, grab some sunblock, hitch up the travel trailer and away we go. I hope you find your perfect spot. Put up your feet, relax and enjoy your summer. I know I will. Happy trails…
