Never eat poorly again. Use these simple methods to always find the top restaurants in any area.
Want to go eat out? Don’t want to eat at the usual? What can you do to ensure that the restaurant you go to is more than just OK but instead the top one or one of the top ones?
Here are a few resources for you to ensure you never eat in a bad or even average restaurant in your area again, only the top restaurants.
Your friends: OK, Not exactly a revelation but what better and trusted resource could you find for a top restaurant in your area than your friends? You can quiz them up and down on their top recommendations. If your friends use Facebook, have them all install the “my restaurants” application to save you the hard work of having to speak with them. Reviews will be localized to your city or area.
Yelp.com: Yelp has become the dominant review site on the web and its core strength is still its restaurant reviews. Yelp is a social network site where millions of users, many I’m sure from your area, review the restaurants they have used with written reviews giving a spectrum of detail. A nice feature of Yelp is that if you have to make a split second decision about a restaurant in your town or city and you have a cell phone with internet access, you can check their site on your phone and pick the restaurant with the highest rating so you get the top one. A friend of mine claims he has not eaten at a restaurant that he would not highly recommend and consider a top choice in the last 2 years by this method.
Message boards: People love to give their opinion and if you have enough foresight to plan ahead, post on various message boards like the food discussion board on craigslist or on the website for various local newspapers. Ask for an opinion of the top Cajun restaurant in the area and you soon will have a beautifully surveyed response with all the top local Cajun restaurants and the ones to avoid.
Never use yellow pages, advertisements again or have to guess by looking at the menu or how nice the interior or wait-staff look. Use these methods to find the top restaurants in your area every single time.
