Technology without a doubt has made our life easier. Though technology has played its part in destroying our planet but it has also done some real cool things to our life. Oh, I heard of taxi magic, too. It’s pretty sweet when you don’t have to flag down a cab from the rainy curb or anything crazy like that!

Let’s not forget my faves
Night Stand — full-featured alarm clock, lots of fun features … there is a trigger that doesn’t allow you to snooze
ICE — In case of Emergency displays your vital medical information, drs. health conditions etc.
Taxi Magic – make that in 4000 cities, convenient, safe and ahem at the “tap” of a button.
and Urban Spoon — like Taxi Magic, uses your location, but to find restaurants, yum.

Been hearing a lot of good things about taxi magic. I’ll probably get it for my iPhone one of these days. Anyway, another great travel app I recommend, which is specific for one destination, is “25 things to do in Boston.” Very simple app, but it works wonders because it works offline, including the map. Great application when strolling around Boston. It’s also available for Amsterdam and Milan.
